Join our Saudi Arabia Photo Tour and photograph one of the most mysterious and least explored landscape photography destinations in the Middle East. This guided photography workshop takes you to Al Disah Valley in the Tabuk region of northwestern Saudi Arabia — a place known for towering sandstone cliffs, narrow canyons, desert landscapes, palm groves, natural springs and dramatic light.
During our Saudi Arabia photo tour, we will focus on the best conditions for photographing desert landscapes, sandstone formations, canyons, local farms, camels and the unique atmosphere of Al Disah Valley. Winter is one of the best times to visit this region for photography: the temperatures are comfortable, the light is softer, and the long shadows of early morning and late afternoon create ideal conditions for powerful landscape images.
You will be guided by experienced landscape photographers together with local guides who know the region very well. In addition to the most impressive viewpoints in Al Disah, we will also explore quieter places and hidden corners discovered during our previous visits. Throughout the workshop, we will help you with composition, camera settings and field decisions so that you can return home with both a memorable experience and a strong portfolio of images from Saudi Arabia.
WHY JOIN OUR SAUDI ARABIA
PHOTO TOUR 2027
Our Saudi Arabia Photo Tour is designed for photographers who want to experience one of the most unique and least explored landscape photography destinations in the Middle East. The workshop is built around dramatic desert scenery, golden light, local knowledge and personal guidance in the field.
PHOTOGRAPH AL DISAH VALLEY IN ITS BEST CONDITIONS
Winter brings comfortable temperatures, softer light and long desert shadows — ideal conditions for photographing sandstone cliffs, canyons, palm groves and desert landscapes in Al Disah Valley.
EXPLORE A HIDDEN GEM OF SAUDI ARABIA
Al Disah Valley in the Tabuk region is still far less visited than many famous photography destinations, giving you the chance to create more unique images from Saudi Arabia.
CAPTURE DESERT LANDSCAPES AND CANYONS
During our Saudi Arabia Photo Tour, we will photograph towering rock walls, narrow valleys, desert formations, natural springs, local farms and dramatic golden-hour scenes.
TRAVEL WITH
LOCAL GUIDES
You will be accompanied by local guides who know the region, culture and access routes very well, helping us explore Al Disah Valley in a safe, organized and respectful way.
LEARN FROM AWARD-WINNING PHOTOGRAPHERS
You will be guided by experienced landscape photographers who will help you with composition, camera settings, lens choice, light, field workflow and creative decisions.
SMALL GROUP,
PERSONAL APPROACH
We keep the group small so every participant receives enough attention during the workshop. You will have space to ask questions, get feedback and improve your photography in the field.
IS SAUDI ARABIA SAFE TO VISIT?
Saudi Arabia may not be the first destination many photographers think of when planning a landscape photography trip, but our experience in the country has been very positive. During our Saudi Arabia Photo Tour, we explore the Tabuk region and Al Disah Valley together with local guides who know the area, culture, access routes and desert conditions very well. This makes the journey organized, respectful and much more comfortable for photographers visiting Saudi Arabia for the first time.
Al Disah Valley is a remote desert landscape, but we do not travel there alone or unprepared. Throughout the tour, you will be supported by experienced photography guides, local experts, planned transportation and carefully selected locations. Our goal is to help you focus on photography while feeling safe, guided and confident in the field — from sunrise sessions among sandstone cliffs to sunset, canyon and night photography in one of the most unique landscapes in the Middle East.

SAUDI ARABIA PHOTO TOUR 2027 ITINERARY
The following itinerary gives you an idea of how our Saudi Arabia Photo Tour is planned. Since this is a landscape photography workshop in Al Disah Valley, the exact daily schedule may change depending on weather, light, local conditions and the best photography opportunities in the desert. Our priority is always to be in the right location at the right time — not to follow a rigid timetable.
DAY 1 – Arrival in Tabuk and Transfer to Al Disah Valley
On the first day of our Saudi Arabia Photo Tour, we will pick you up at Tabuk Airport and travel together by car toward Al Disah Valley, one of the most photogenic desert landscapes in Saudi Arabia.
Our accommodation will be located directly in the heart of the Al Disah area, close to a local fruit farm. This gives us a peaceful base surrounded by desert scenery, sandstone cliffs and palm-filled landscapes. Fresh breakfasts will be available every day and are already included in the tour price.
After arrival, we will take time to settle in, get to know each other and go through the plan for the following days. We will explain how the photography workshop will be organized, how we will adapt the itinerary around light and local conditions, and what you can expect while photographing Al Disah Valley.

DAY 2–3 – Northern Al Disah Valley, Sandstone Peaks and Desert Formations
During the next two days of our Saudi Arabia Photo Tour, we will focus on the northern part of Al Disah Valley. This area offers some of the most dramatic desert landscapes in the Tabuk region, with sharp sandstone peaks, red rock walls, sand formations and wide valley views that are perfect for landscape photography.
We will start early in the morning to photograph the first light entering the valley and illuminating the sandstone cliffs. These conditions can create beautiful contrast, long shadows and warm colors, making sunrise one of the best times to capture the unique atmosphere of Al Disah.
For sunset, we will explore similar desert locations and, if conditions allow, look for small accessible caves and natural frames from which we can photograph the valley in evening light. These compositions can add depth, scale and a strong sense of place to your images.
On the following day, we will continue exploring the northern side of Al Disah Valley, including the area around a local camel farm. This part of the valley offers fascinating rock formations, desert textures and otherworldly scenery that makes Saudi Arabia such a unique destination for landscape photographers.

DAY 4–5 – Southern Al Disah Valley, Hidden Valleys and Night Photography
During the fourth and fifth days of our Saudi Arabia Photo Tour, we will explore the southern part of Al Disah Valley, where some of the most massive sandstone mountains and dramatic rock formations in the area can be found.
One of the highlights will be a small hidden valley known mainly to local people. This location has excellent potential for strong landscape photography compositions, with towering rock walls, desert textures, natural frames and beautiful foregrounds. When the morning golden light enters the valley, the sandstone cliffs come alive with warm colors, shadows and depth.
If conditions allow, we will also use this location for night photography. The dark desert sky, remote atmosphere and sharp rock formations in the foreground can create powerful images of the night sky in Saudi Arabia.
On the fifth day, our local guide will take us to additional hidden places around Al Disah Valley — locations that most regular tourists and photographers never visit. These quieter spots give us more freedom to work with composition, light and the unique desert atmosphere of northwestern Saudi Arabia.

DAY 6–7 – Deep Canyon, Ancient Symbols, Sand Dunes and Desert Oases
On the sixth day of our Saudi Arabia Photo Tour, we will explore a nearby deep canyon that feels like another world. This canyon stretches for several kilometers and is crossed by a small stream, bringing life into the heart of the desert. Tall grasses, wild palms, water, sandstone walls and narrow passages create a completely different atmosphere from the open landscapes of Al Disah Valley.
This location offers excellent opportunities for more intimate landscape photography, using reflections, vegetation, rock textures, leading lines and natural light inside the canyon. Walking through this place feels like a true desert exploration, with new compositions appearing around every corner. The canyon also carries a strong sense of history. On some of the rock walls, we may see ancient symbols carved long ago by Bedouins and shepherds who once moved through this region. If we are lucky, we may also meet local herders who still occasionally bring their animals into the canyon.
On the seventh day, we will focus on the sandy desert landscapes on the far side of Al Disah Valley. Here, we will photograph sand dunes, desert patterns, golden light and sharp rock formations rising in the background. Deeper in the desert, we may also visit hidden oases where camel herders still bring their animals today. Since the photo tour takes place in winter, we do not expect extreme heat. The temperatures are usually much more comfortable for photography, and our vehicles will always be nearby, allowing us to rest, cool down and move efficiently between locations.

DAY 8 – Final Sunrise in Al Disah Valley and Departure from Tabuk
On the final morning of our Saudi Arabia Photo Tour, we will photograph sunrise near the sandstone formations close to our accommodation in Al Disah Valley. This last session will give us one more opportunity to work with desert light, rock shapes, warm colors and the peaceful atmosphere of northwestern Saudi Arabia.
After the morning shoot, we will return for breakfast, pack our equipment and prepare for the journey back to Tabuk. From there, we will continue to the airport area, where our photography workshop in Saudi Arabia will come to an end.
