ICELAND - a place where fire shakes hands with ice. Don't let the infinite beauty of Iceland escape you, all during the 10-day photo-expedition. Experience the magic of Iceland, where nature writes its own script and therefore often changes it. The "lunar island" in the Atlantic Ocean with a Nordic climate is a real European exotic. The land of fire and ice, green moss and black lava is full of roaring waterfalls, slumbering volcanoes, vast glaciers and erupting geysers - a true photographer's paradise.

Why did we choose this particular date for the expedition? March is the time when Iceland is extremely photogenic. It is the period when spring begins, which means landscapes with freshly melted water, but still high possibility to experience ice caves. Moreover, during this period day and night alternate as we know it. Therefore, we also have a great chance to observe and photograph the aurora borealis. Simply put, March is the perfect time for a landscape photographer to visit this beautiful country.

Our photo tour will focus on the southern part of Iceland. During our Iceland photo expedition, we will visit most beautiful places of this country. But not only the "must see" spots. We will also take you to unknown places that we discovered during our visits to Iceland. Thanks to this, you will have exceptional photos in your portfolio.

We will personally help you capture the best possible images during our photography tour. Two experienced lecturers who know the photographed places very well will be at your disposal the whole time. You can therefore be sure that you will always be in the right place at the right time. In addition, tour leaders will be at your disposal 24/7 during the entire expedition. They will pass on their valuable knowledge, thanks to which they are internationally recognized on the photography scene.

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM EXPEDITION?

We will plan the places where we will take photos according to the weather and conditions. Therefore, we do not provide a detailed itinerary. Well, you can be sure that you will see places that you will never forget. So, what can you expect from our Iceland photo expedition?

PHOTOGRAPHING

ACTIVE VOLCANIC

AREAS

Photographing in an active volcanic area is the dream of every landscape photographer. Iceland is a country with high volcanic activity. If any of the accessible volcanic areas are active during the expedition period, you will have an unforgettable experience of photographing flowing lava and spewing craters.

PHOTOGRAPHING

NORTHERN LIGHTS

Aurora Borealis or "northern lights" is one of the most interesting phenomena that occur in nature. March is the month when the Aurora is visible in the area of Iceland. However, it cannot be promised. With a bit of luck, we will be able to see her in full force and thus include excellent night pieces in our portfolio.

BEACHES AND MASSIVE WATERFALLS

Iceland is full of mighty photogenic waterfalls and mysterious beaches. During our expedition, we will visit the most photogenic of them - the massive Gullfoss, the colorful Bruarfoss, the famous Skógafoss, the "unseen" Kvernufoss and others. We will not miss the beaches of Reynisfjara and the so-called "Diamond beach".

BEAUTIFUL MOUNTAINS AND GLACIERS

Since a large part of Iceland is covered by glaciers, we cannot miss them during our photo-expedition. We will visit the most famous glacial lagoon Jökulsárlón and the majestic Svínafellsjökull. The eastern stop of the expedition will be the photogenic Vestrahorn and Eystrahorn mountains, which are known for their steep pointed walls. They are places where you will feel as if you are standing on the edge of the world.

PHOTOGRAPHING BLUE ICE CAVES

March is a very good time to explore and photograph ice caves. Part of our expedition will be a day tour during which you will experience this natural phenomenon. In addition, with us you will have enough time to take photos in these caves thanks to a private tour.
